Morocco Secures Three Gold Medals in the Opening of the Arab Athletics Championship for Youth in Egypt

The Moroccan athletics team made a strong start on the first day of the Arab Championship for under-23s, currently being held in Egypt, by winning three gold medals in three different events.

In the men’s 10,000 meters race, Moroccan runner Taha Er-Raouy claimed first place with a time of 29:28.02 minutes, outperforming his compatriot Mohamed Ait Taghzant who finished second with a time of 29:43.96 minutes.

In the men’s long jump competition, Zayed Lateef snatched the gold medal with a jump of 7.71 meters, surpassing his rivals from Egypt and Kuwait.

As for the women’s 5,000 meters race, Fatima Aafir added the third gold medal for Morocco, although details about her time were not available in the attached images.

This strong start puts Morocco at the top of the medal table in this Arab youth championship, reflecting the strength and depth of young athletic talents in Moroccan track and field.
