Rabat, 4 June 2024: The Kingdom of Morocco has expressed its support for US President Joseph R. Biden’s proposals for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the entry of humanitarian aid, the protection of civilians, the return of displaced persons and the reconstruction of destroyed areas.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates emphasised the importance of these proposals in reaching a peaceful solution to the conflict in the region.
The statement added that the Kingdom of Morocco hopes that all parties concerned will commit to this initiative and work towards its full implementation.

This Moroccan position is a reflection of the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting peace and stability in the region and promoting the chances of a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
