The surroundings of the Grand Stade de Fès are expected to undergo major improvements soon, as it is planned to be reinforced with an arena that can seat over 4,000 spectators. These developments come in preparation to host a range of diverse sporting events, including futsal, basketball, handball, and combat sports.
The project includes structural and technical improvements to meet the needs of different events, and it is expected that this stadium will play an important role in promoting sports activities and enhancing interaction between the sports community in Fès and neighboring areas.
This step comes as part of continuous efforts to develop the sports infrastructure in the region, led by the Wali of the Fès-Meknès region, Said Azmi, and to strengthen its position as a preferred destination for hosting local and national sporting events.
