Rabat – Le ministère des Habous et des Affaires islamiques a annoncé, lundi 24 août 2026, les noms des lauréats des Prix Mohammed VI dans plusieurs catégories consacrées à la pensée et aux études islamiques, à la mémorisation du Saint Coran ainsi qu’aux arts de la calligraphie, de l’ornementation et de la lettre, à l’occasion de l’Aïd Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi.
Le ministère a indiqué, dans un communiqué, que le Prix Mohammed VI honorifique et commémoratif de la pensée et des études islamiques a été attribué à Abdelmajid Saghir.
Dans le domaine de la mémorisation du Saint Coran, Omar Ben Abdellah Al-Chahri a remporté le Prix international Mohammed VI de mémorisation du Saint Coran, dans la catégorie de la mémorisation intégrale avec récitation et interprétation. Le prix dans la catégorie du tajwid avec mémorisation de cinq hizb a été attribué à Oussama Bouzahir.
Dans le domaine de la calligraphie marocaine, Fouad El Idrissi El Mourabiti a reçu le Prix Mohammed VI honorifique de l’art de la calligraphie marocaine, tandis que El Arbi Montassir a remporté le Prix Mohammed VI d’excellence dans le même domaine.
Dans la catégorie de l’ornementation marocaine sur papier, le Prix Mohammed VI honorifique a été décerné à Hassan Semlali, tandis que Saadia Ennaha a remporté le Prix Mohammed VI d’excellence.
Dans le domaine de l’art de la lettre (hurofiyya), Abdelghani Ouida a reçu le Prix Mohammed VI honorifique, tandis que Rachid Chaïr a remporté le Prix Mohammed VI d’excellence dans cette discipline.
Ces distinctions s’inscrivent dans le cadre de la reconnaissance des personnalités et artistes qui se sont distingués dans les domaines de la pensée, des études islamiques, du Saint Coran et des arts liés au patrimoine marocain, à l’occasion de la commémoration de la naissance du Prophète Mohammed, paix et salut sur lui.

Rabat – Morocco’s Ministry of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced on Monday, August 24, 2026, the names of the winners of the Mohammed VI Prizes in several categories covering Islamic thought and studies, Quran memorization, as well as Moroccan calligraphy, ornamentation and lettering arts, on the occasion of the Prophet Mohammed’s birthday.
According to a ministry statement, the Mohammed VI Honorary and Commemorative Prize for Islamic Thought and Studies was awarded to Abdelmajid Saghir.
In the field of Quran memorization, Omar Ben Abdellah Al-Shahri won the Mohammed VI International Prize for Quran Memorization, in the category of complete memorization with recitation and interpretation. The prize in the tajwid category combined with the memorization of five hizb was awarded to Oussama Bouzahir.
