Rabat – Le chercheur et écrivain marocain Ismaïl El Hamraoui a annoncé la parution de son nouvel ouvrage intitulé Le Royaume des Grands Chantiers : Quand la volonté du Roi façonne l’épopée de la Nation. Cet ouvrage de recherche et d’analyse revient sur les profondes transformations qu’a connues le Maroc au cours des vingt-cinq dernières années, à travers une lecture des principaux projets stratégiques, réformes et grands chantiers engagés depuis 1999. Le livre devrait être disponible dans les librairies marocaines à partir de la semaine prochaine, selon son auteur.
L’ouvrage se présente comme une tentative de relire l’expérience de développement du Royaume en combinant documentation et analyse. Il s’appuie sur les discours royaux, les documents officiels, les rapports nationaux et internationaux, ainsi que sur plusieurs études universitaires, afin de contribuer à une meilleure compréhension des enjeux du développement et des politiques publiques au Maroc.
Ismaïl El Hamraoui précise que son livre ne prétend pas couvrir tous les aspects de l’expérience marocaine, mais vise plutôt à ouvrir un débat académique et intellectuel sur les transformations du pays, tout en mettant en lumière l’impact des grands projets sur la modernisation des infrastructures économiques, sociales et institutionnelles, ainsi que sur le renforcement de la position du Maroc aux niveaux régional et international.
L’auteur a également exprimé sa gratitude au professeur Hassan Tariq pour avoir rédigé la préface de l’ouvrage, ainsi qu’à toutes les personnes ayant contribué à sa relecture, à son accompagnement et à sa publication. Il considère cette œuvre comme une contribution supplémentaire à la littérature consacrée au développement et aux politiques publiques au Maroc.
Cette publication s’inscrit dans la continuité des travaux d’Ismaïl El Hamraoui sur les questions de pensée, de politique et de développement, après plusieurs articles et études consacrés aux politiques publiques et aux enjeux du développement national.
New Book Chronicles a Quarter Century of Morocco’s Major Reforms: Ismaïl El Hamraoui Publishes The Kingdom of Great Projects
Rabat – Moroccan researcher and author Ismaïl El Hamraoui has announced the release of his new book, The Kingdom of Great Projects: When the King’s Vision Shapes the Nation’s Journey. The research-based publication examines Morocco’s major transformations over the past twenty-five years through an analytical review of the country’s key strategic projects, reforms, and structural initiatives launched since 1999. According to the author, the book will be available in Moroccan bookstores starting next week.
The book offers a fresh perspective on Morocco’s development experience by combining documentation with analysis. It draws on royal speeches, official documents, national and international reports, as well as academic studies, with the aim of providing a deeper understanding of the country’s development challenges and public policies.
El Hamraoui explains that the book does not claim to cover every aspect of Morocco’s national experience. Instead, it seeks to encourage academic and intellectual debate on the country’s transformation while highlighting the role of major development projects in modernizing economic, social, and institutional structures and strengthening Morocco’s regional and international standing.
The author also expressed his gratitude to Professor Hassan Tariq for writing the book’s foreword, as well as to everyone who contributed to reviewing, supporting, and publishing the work. He considers the publication a valuable addition to the growing body of literature on Morocco’s development and public policy.
This new release continues Ismaïl El Hamraoui’s longstanding interest in issues related to political thought, public policy, and development, following the publication of several articles and academic studies on Morocco’s governance and development trajectory.
