The Federation of Liquefied Gas Distributors and Professionals in the Fez–Meknes region announced a temporary suspension of gas distribution operations on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 21 and 22, 2026, in a move prompted by recent professional and regulatory developments in the sector.
According to a professional statement issued by the Federation, this decision was taken following a meeting held on April 20 at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services in the Fez-Meknes region, which was dedicated to examining the repercussions of the decision to lift the suspension of distribution, in the context of national discussions with relevant authorities regarding the challenges faced by professionals in the sector.
