Sefrou – Les préparatifs de la 102e édition du Festival des cerises “Hab Al Moulouk” ont été officiellement lancés dans la province de Sefrou, à l’issue d’une réunion de coordination présidée par le gouverneur de la province, Ibrahim Abouzid, le jeudi 2 avril 2026, en présence des différents partenaires et intervenants.
Sefrou – Preparations for the 102nd edition of the Cherry Festival “Hab Al Moulouk” have officially begun in Sefrou province following a coordination meeting chaired by the provincial governor, Ibrahim Abouzid, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, with the participation of various stakeholders.

Cette réunion s’inscrit dans le cadre de la mise en place des dispositifs organisationnels et logistiques nécessaires pour assurer le bon déroulement de cette édition, compte tenu de l’importance historique et culturelle de ce festival, l’un des plus anciens du Maroc, remontant aux années 1920.
This meeting is part of efforts to establish the organizational and logistical arrangements required to ensure the smooth running of this edition, given the historical and cultural importance of the festival, one of the oldest in Morocco, dating back to the 1920s.

Le festival bénéficie d’un patronage royal منذ سنة 2010، كما تم إدراجه ضمن قائمة التراث الثقافي غير المادي لمنظمة اليونسكو سنة 2012، ما يعزز مكانته الدولية.
The festival has enjoyed royal patronage since 2010 and was inscribed on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2012, reinforcing its international standing.

Cette édition devrait proposer un programme riche et diversifié réparti sur plusieurs espaces de la ville, incluant des scènes artistiques, des activités folkloriques, ainsi que des espaces d’exposition valorisant les produits locaux, notamment la cerise, symbole du festival.
This edition is expected to feature a rich and diverse program across multiple venues in the city, including artistic performances, folk activities, and exhibition spaces showcasing local products, especially cherries, the symbol of the festival.

Il est également prévu, pour la première fois, de consacrer un espace dédié aux enfants, dans le but d’élargir la participation et de renforcer l’inclusivité des activités proposées.
For the first time, a space dedicated to children will also be introduced, aiming to broaden participation and enhance inclusivity in the festival’s activities.

La réunion a également été l’occasion de rappeler plusieurs projets de développement en cours dans la province, tels que la création d’un nouveau complexe culturel, ainsi que des projets structurants dans les domaines industriel, environnemental et sanitaire.
The meeting also highlighted several ongoing development projects in the province, including the creation of a new cultural complex, as well as major initiatives in industrial, environmental, and healthcare infrastructure.

Le gouverneur a appelé l’ensemble des partenaires institutionnels à une mobilisation collective pour assurer le succès de cette édition, et renforcer le rayonnement du festival aux niveaux national et international.
