Based on precise information provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, officers from the regional police in the city of Salé arrested a 33-year-old woman on the evening of Wednesday, July 30, 2025, on suspicion of involvement in a case related to possession and trafficking of drugs and narcotics.
The suspect was apprehended in one of Salé’s neighborhoods, caught in the act of possessing and distributing hallucinogenic pills. A search conducted by the police uncovered 2,430 narcotic medical pills of the type “Rivotril,” in addition to doses of cocaine.
The suspect is currently under judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office to identify any further extensions of this criminal activity and to disclose all criminal acts attributed to her.
This case is part of ongoing efforts by the General Directorate of National Security, in close cooperation with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, to combat illegal trafficking networks of all kinds of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
