Ministry of Education Announces 83.3% Overall Success Rate for the 2025 Baccalaureate Exams

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports announced the final results of the 2025 Baccalaureate exams, reporting an overall success rate of 83.3% after combining the results of the regular and makeup sessions. A total of 311,625 enrolled candidates from both public and private education sectors successfully passed the exams.

The ministry clarified that the success rate in the makeup session reached 59,918 candidates, with an attendance rate of 94.2%. Among free candidates, 12,341 succeeded in this session, with an attendance rate of 61.3%. Consequently, the overall success rate for free candidates across both sessions was 55.1%, compared to 57.6% in 2024.

The ministry praised the dedication and sense of responsibility demonstrated by the men and women in the education and training sector during this important national milestone. It also expressed deep appreciation for their commitment to implementing measures that ensure the credibility of the Moroccan Baccalaureate and guarantee equal opportunities for all candidates.

Furthermore, the ministry extended its gratitude to families, local and security authorities, and all stakeholders who contributed to ensuring the smooth conduct of the exams, as well as to the media for their efforts in covering the various stages of the examination process.

These results reflect Morocco’s continued efforts to enhance the quality of its educational system despite existing challenges, while maintaining the Baccalaureate certificate as a key national standard for access to higher education.
