The Al-Rahma district in Casablanca was shaken this evening by a violent explosion of two butane gas cylinders, one large and one small, resulting in injuries of varying severity to 8 people.
The devastating incident occurred just before the Maghrib (Iftar) call to prayer, and the powerful explosion caused parts of a three-story house to collapse, sparking panic and fear among the neighborhood’s residents.
Firefighters and ambulances rushed to the scene, and the injured were taken to the hospital for necessary treatment, while security authorities launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and causes of the incident.
