On Monday evening, police officers at the Tangier Security Directorate arrested a 20-year-old man suspected of engaging in dangerous exhibitionist driving on the public street, endangering road users, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security.
According to a statement by the General Directorate of National Security, the arrest came after a video clip was posted on social media sites documenting his reckless driving, which prompted the security services to launch an intensive investigation to identify him, and the investigations led to his location and arrest, while the car was seized and deposited in the municipal detention center upon the instructions of the competent public prosecution.
The suspect was subjected to judicial investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, in order to uncover all the circumstances related to this incident and determine the legal responsibilities resulting from it.
This operation comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the security services to combat exhibitionist driving that threatens the safety of citizens, and reflects the commitment of the General Directorate of National Security to ensure road security and protect lives and property.
