Members of the motorcycle unit of the Fez Security Prefecture have successfully apprehended a young man and a woman, aged between 20 and 23, both with prior criminal records, on suspicion of their involvement in violent robberies involving kidnapping and threats with a bladed weapon, using a motorcycle.
This operation followed a series of field investigations and inquiries, during which their location was identified in a park in the Idrissia neighborhood near Majd Clinic and the highway. They were caught in possession of a large bladed weapon and a motorcycle, which they allegedly used to carry out the robberies.
A background check of the suspects in the national security database revealed that they were the subjects of search warrants issued by the judicial police services of the Fez Security Prefecture, suspected of involvement in similar crimes as part of a criminal network specializing in robberies involving kidnapping and threats.
The suspects have been placed under police custody on the instructions of the relevant public prosecutor’s office, pending further judicial investigation to uncover all the details of the case and determine its potential ramifications.
