Following the decision to terminate the duties of several provincial directors and reassign others as part of ongoing efforts to reform the education system, the Regional Academy of Education and Training for the Fes-Meknes region has announced the opening of applications for the position of Provincial Director in the directorates of Fes, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, and Boulemane.
This decision aligns with efforts to enhance the governance of provincial directorates and strengthen their managerial and educational capacities, in accordance with the strategic goals of improving education quality and ensuring more effective management of educational institutions. It also supports the implementation of Framework Law No. 51.17 and the 2022-2026 roadmap programs.
The Ministry of Education recently reassigned seven provincial directors to new positions and terminated the duties of 16 others, sparking significant debate within educational and political circles. The matter has also drawn the attention of Parliament, which is now discussing the implications of these dismissals on the management of the education system.
