During the weekly press conference held on Thursday, November 28, 2024, following the Council of Government meeting, the government spokesperson, Mustapha Baïtas, provided important details regarding the latest developments of the “AMO Solidarity” initiative, outlining key points about government contributions and the identification of beneficiaries for this social program.
Baïtas stated that the financial contributions established under “AMO Solidarity” have not been modified so far. He highlighted that 3.8 million Moroccan citizens have benefited from this initiative. He further explained that it is crucial to ensure beneficiaries are correctly categorized, which requires ongoing review to guarantee that support reaches those who truly need it.
If beneficiaries have been correctly categorized from the outset of the initiative, they will continue to receive support under the same conditions.
Regarding any adjustments to the allocated amounts, Baïtas mentioned that there may have been some increases and decreases in the amounts, but he did not provide specific details about these changes, emphasizing that he did not have all the precise information on the matter at this time.
