As part of preparations for upcoming sports events and efforts to enhance the city’s aesthetics, the Governor of the Fes-Meknes Region, Mr. Moâd Jamai, has instructed the activation of Collective Decision No. 2112, issued on April 4, 2023. This decision mandates the unification of building facade painting in Fes using non-glossy white paint.
According to the official document, authorities in the Agdal district and the Fes City Council are instructed to begin implementing this directive starting February 6, 2024. The initiative aims to preserve the city’s charm and enhance its visual appeal, aligning with the aspirations of residents and visitors alike.
This step is part of a broader dynamic to improve the city’s aesthetic infrastructure and urban planning, coinciding with preparations for upcoming events that will position Fes as a leading Moroccan city with both modern and historical significance.
