Casablanca – Royal Air Maroc has announced the cancellation of its flights to and from the French city of Nantes on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, following a strike notice by firefighters at Nantes Airport.
The company stated on its official website that airport authorities had requested all airlines to reduce their flight schedules during this day, forcing them to cancel their programmed flights.
To support affected passengers, the airline announced a series of measures, including sending emails and SMS messages to travelers whose contact information is available in their booking files to notify them of their flight cancellations.
The company is offering affected passengers three options:
- Refund of the ticket value through the original payment method
- Free flight rescheduling subject to seat availability to and from the same destination
- Change of destination to any other French city within Royal Air Maroc’s network within three days following the cancelled flight date, while maintaining the original stay duration
The company urged passengers not to go to the airport and instead contact their original point of sale or the company’s call center to benefit from these arrangements. Passengers can also check their flight status through the company’s website.
