In an effort to enhance security cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, has begun an official work visit to the UAE, which extends from September 23 to 26, 2024. This visit aims to establish the legal and organizational foundations for consolidating security cooperation between the two parties, through the signing of a memorandum of understanding for advanced police training.
The visit also included meetings with a number of Emirati security officials, including the Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and the head of the National Intelligence Service, where ways to confront common security threats and enhance intelligence work were discussed.
The visit coincides with the escalation of regional and international security threats, making this cooperation a strategic step to enhance security and stability in the region.
