In a new humanitarian initiative, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has issued royal directives to send urgent medical aid to the Gaza Strip to support the Palestinian population amidst their difficult circumstances.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates announced in a statement that this aid consists of 40 tons of essential medical supplies. These supplies include equipment for treating burns, materials for surgical emergencies and orthopedic surgeries, as well as essential medications for both adults and children.
In a generous gesture, His Majesty the King personally financed a large portion of this aid from his own funds, reflecting his deep commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people.
This aid will be delivered through the same land route used to send food aid during the past Ramadan, as per the King’s instructions.
This humanitarian initiative reaffirms Morocco’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and highlights King Mohammed VI’s dedication, as Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to providing continuous support to the Palestinian people under various circumstances.
The statement emphasized that these large-scale humanitarian operations for the Palestinian population demonstrate the practical commitment and ongoing care that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has consistently shown towards the Palestinian cause.
