Al-Masaa newspaper reported that the public prosecution in Salé decided to place two doctors from Moulay Abdallah Hospital in Salé in pre-trial detention, while a third doctor is being monitored in a state of liberty. The move came against the backdrop of a case related to suspected manipulation and falsification of medical certificates used in traffic accident files, with the aim of increasing the period of disability to benefit from high financial compensation from insurance companies, in collusion with intermediaries and lawyers.
In another topic, Al Masaa published parliamentary demands to create an airline linking the provinces of the East to the cities of the axis. Fatima Tamni, parliamentarian for the Democratic Left Federation, said that the residents of Bouarfa, Fekik and Boudnib, in addition to many villages, face great difficulties in travelling and family communication, especially since a number of them work far away from them in Rabat, Casablanca and others.
For its part, Bayan Al-Youm reported that the head of the regional veterinary department of the National Office for the Health Safety of Food Products in Tangier, Moulay Youssef Al-Wakeel, revealed that more than 83,000 sheep and goats are destined for slaughter on the occasion of Eid al-Adha in the region. The digitisation of sheep and goats for Eid al-Adha has so far enabled 54,506 sheep and 29,263 goats to be digitised in Tangier province.
On a different topic, Alalam reported that Nabila Ramili, president of the Casablanca Community Council, decided to give the delegation of the construction sector to her tenth deputy, Mohamed Shafik Benkirane, which she has been controlling since the resignation of her deputy, Tawfiq Kemili, who was delegated to manage the construction sector. This decision is expected to be officially announced in the next few days after the installation of the head of the Department of Construction, Housing and Property at the Casablanca Community Administration following the eligibility test for the said position.
The spread of stray dogs in the streets threatens the lives of passers-by. In this context, Chtour, president of the Moroccan Association for the Defence of Consumer Rights, said that new phenomena have surfaced, such as the breeding of vicious dogs, which pose a danger to humans due to the type of species they belong to, in addition to their negative effects on the living environment of the population. Chtour added that there are those who use these dogs not for any apparent benefit, but to satisfy personal desires, disturbing the freedom of passers-by and terrorising them through a show of force.
