Missour – Le commandement provincial de la Protection civile dans la province de Boulemane a célébré, le 1er mars, la Journée mondiale de la Protection civile au siège de la commanderie provinciale à Missour, sous le thème : « Gestion des risques environnementaux pour un avenir résilient et durable ».
Missour – The Provincial Command of Civil Protection in the province of Boulemane marked World Civil Protection Day on March 1 at its headquarters in the city of Missour under the theme: “Managing environmental risks for a resilient and sustainable future.”

Cet événement s’est déroulé en présence du gouverneur de la province de Boulemane, ainsi que de plusieurs responsables, élus et acteurs locaux, dans le cadre de la mise en valeur du rôle joué par les services de la Protection civile dans la protection des vies et des biens et dans les interventions lors des situations d’urgence et de catastrophes.
The event was held in the presence of the governor of Boulemane province, along with several officials, elected representatives, and local stakeholders, highlighting the role played by Civil Protection services in safeguarding lives and property and responding to emergencies and disasters.

Dans une allocution prononcée à cette occasion, le commandant provincial de la Protection civile a évoqué l’évolution de la philosophie d’intervention de l’institution, qui repose désormais sur le passage d’une logique d’intervention après les incidents à une logique de prévention et d’anticipation, à travers l’adoption de nouvelles approches de gestion des risques et le renforcement de la préparation face aux différentes urgences.
In a speech delivered during the event, the provincial commander of Civil Protection referred to the evolution of the institution’s operational philosophy, which now focuses on shifting from responding after incidents occur to a strategy based on prevention and anticipation, through the adoption of new risk management approaches and enhanced preparedness for various emergencies.

Les interventions ont également mis en avant l’importance de la planification anticipative, de l’élaboration de risk maps, et du renforcement de la coordination entre les différents intervenants, ainsi que la diffusion d’une culture de sécurité et de prévention au sein de la société, considérée comme l’un des piliers fondamentaux pour réduire l’impact des catastrophes naturelles et environnementales.
The interventions also highlighted the importance of proactive planning, developing risk maps, strengthening coordination between various stakeholders, and promoting a culture of safety and prevention within society, which is considered one of the key pillars for reducing the impact of natural and environmental disasters.

Les participants ont souligné que les défis liés aux risques environnementaux, tels que les inondations, les incendies de forêt et les glissements de terrain, nécessitent aujourd’hui une vigilance collective et une mobilisation continue, notamment dans un contexte de transformations climatiques observées à l’échelle mondiale.
Participants emphasized that challenges related to environmental risks, such as floods, forest fires, and landslides, now require collective vigilance and continuous mobilization, especially in light of global climate changes.

Cette occasion a également permis de saluer les efforts des éléments de la Protection civile, qui assurent des missions d’intervention et de secours dans des conditions souvent difficiles, travaillant sans relâche pour protéger les citoyens et garantir leur sécurité.
The occasion also served to acknowledge the efforts of Civil Protection personnel, who carry out rescue and emergency operations under often difficult conditions, working continuously to protect citizens and ensure their safety.
