Rabat hosted the signing ceremony of several partnership agreements related to the implementation of the support and assistance program contract for the Chambers of Handicrafts and their Federation, signed on February 13, 2025. The event was attended by the Secretary of State in charge of Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, along with officials and representatives of national institutions concerned with the sector.
The ceremony was also attended by the Director General of the Digital Development Agency, the Chief Executive Officer of a company specialized in organizing exhibitions and economic events, the Director General of an institution responsible for promoting and marketing handicraft products, as well as presidents of the regional Chambers of Handicrafts and their Federation.
The first agreement establishes a partnership between the Secretariat of State, the Chambers of Handicrafts and their Federation, and the Digital Development Agency, with the aim of accelerating the implementation of the program contract through the development of digital services for the sector. These include the creation of a professional card for artisans, the activation of the National Handicrafts Registry, and the digitalization of regional chambers and sector infrastructure. A budget of 36 million dirhams has been allocated to this project.
The second agreement aims to support the international marketing of Moroccan handicraft products by organizing international exhibitions targeting the Moroccan diaspora and various economic stakeholders. These events are scheduled to take place in Brussels from March 27 to 29, 2026, and in Paris from June 12 to 14, 2026.
Additionally, a specific program contract for the year 2026 was signed between the Secretariat of State, 12 regional Chambers of Handicrafts, and the institution responsible for promoting the sector. It focuses on structuring artisans within professional bodies, continuing the implementation of the National Registry, expanding health coverage, improving product quality, ensuring access to raw materials, modernizing work tools, and strengthening training and marketing support.
These agreements fall within the framework of strengthening the role of the Chambers of Handicrafts in implementing the sector’s development programs and enhancing coordination and cooperation mechanisms among stakeholders, with the objective of improving the sector’s performance at both national and international levels.
Signature de conventions de partenariat à Rabat pour soutenir, digitaliser et promouvoir le secteur de l’artisanat
Rabat a abrité la cérémonie de signature de plusieurs conventions de partenariat relatives à la mise en œuvre du contrat-programme de soutien et d’accompagnement des Chambres d’artisanat et de leur Fédération, signé le 13 février 2025. L’événement s’est déroulé en présence du secrétaire d’État chargé de l’Artisanat et de l’Économie sociale et solidaire, ainsi que de responsables et représentants d’institutions nationales concernées par le secteur.
La cérémonie a également connu la participation du directeur général de l’Agence de développement du digital, du président-directeur général d’une société spécialisée dans l’organisation de salons et d’événements économiques, du directeur général d’un établissement chargé de la promotion et de la commercialisation des produits de l’artisanat, ainsi que des présidents des Chambres régionales d’artisanat et de leur Fédération.
La première convention porte sur l’établissement d’un partenariat entre le Secrétariat d’État, les Chambres d’artisanat et leur Fédération, et l’Agence de développement du digital, en vue d’accélérer la mise en œuvre du contrat-programme à travers le développement de services numériques au profit du secteur. Il s’agit notamment de la création de la carte professionnelle de l’artisan, de l’activation du Registre national de l’artisanat, ainsi que de la digitalisation des Chambres régionales et des structures du secteur. Une enveloppe budgétaire de 36 millions de dirhams a été mobilisée pour ce projet.
La deuxième convention vise à soutenir la commercialisation des produits de l’artisanat marocain à l’international, à travers l’organisation de salons internationaux destinés à la diaspora marocaine et à plusieurs acteurs économiques. Ces manifestations sont prévues à Bruxelles du 27 au 29 mars 2026 et à Paris du 12 au 14 juin 2026.
Par ailleurs, un contrat-programme spécifique au titre de l’année 2026 a été signé entre le Secrétariat d’État, 12 Chambres régionales d’artisanat et l’établissement chargé de la promotion du secteur. Il repose sur plusieurs axes, notamment la structuration des artisans au sein d’organisations professionnelles, la poursuite de la mise en œuvre du Registre national, la généralisation de la couverture sanitaire, l’amélioration de la qualité de production, l’approvisionnement en matières premières, la modernisation des outils de travail, ainsi que le renforcement de la formation et du marketing.
Ces conventions s’inscrivent dans le cadre du renforcement du rôle des Chambres d’artisanat dans la mise en œuvre des programmes de développement du secteur, ainsi que dans l’amélioration des mécanismes de coordination et de coopération entre les différents intervenants, afin de développer le secteur et d’améliorer ses performances aux niveaux national et international.
