Morocco – The Ministry of the Interior has announced the launch of the census process for military service for the year 2026, scheduled from March 2 to April 30, 2026. This step comes as part of preparations to integrate the next cohort starting September 1, in implementation of the High Royal Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
Maroc – Le ministère de l’Intérieur a annoncé le lancement de l’opération de recensement relative au service militaire au titre de l’année 2026, prévue du 2 mars au 30 avril 2026. Cette démarche s’inscrit dans le cadre des préparatifs visant à intégrer le prochain contingent à partir du 1er septembre, en application des Hautes Instructions Royales de Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI, Chef suprême et Chef d’état-major général des Forces armées royales.

According to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior, the Central Commission for Military Service Census, chaired by a chamber president at the Court of Cassation, held a meeting at the ministry’s headquarters to determine the criteria for selecting young people required to complete the census form, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
Selon un communiqué du ministère de l’Intérieur, la Commission centrale du recensement relatif au service militaire, présidée par un président de chambre à la Cour de cassation, a tenu une réunion au siège du ministère afin de fixer les critères de sélection des jeunes appelés à remplir le formulaire de recensement, conformément aux dispositions légales en vigueur.

During the meeting, the necessary criteria were established to determine the number of individuals concerned with completing the census form, based on the database prepared by the Ministry of the Interior. Accordingly, lists of eligible young people will be drawn up by prefectures, provinces, and districts.
Lors de la réunion, les critères nécessaires ont été arrêtés afin de déterminer le nombre de personnes concernées par le remplissage du formulaire de recensement, à partir de la base de données élaborée par le ministère de l’Intérieur. En conséquence, des listes des jeunes concernés seront établies par préfectures, provinces et préfectures d’arrondissements.
