Spanish Investigation: New Far-Right Digital Platform Promotes Hostile Rhetoric Against Moroccans and Migrants

A journalistic investigation published by the Spanish digital outlet El Plural has revealed what it described as a new media strategy adopted by the far-right Vox party, centered on launching an audiovisual digital platform to disseminate hostile rhetoric against Moroccans and migrants, outside traditional media channels.

According to the investigation, released at the beginning of 2026, the party launched a digital platform called “Bipartidismo Stream,” presented as an alternative media arm aimed at imposing a specific political agenda through direct content targeting younger audiences, while bypassing conventional journalistic mediation.

Allegations of Disinformation and Hate Speech

El Plural reported that the new platform relies heavily on the dissemination of misleading information and content described as racist and anti-immigrant, with a particular focus on Moroccans and migrant communities. This is done by linking them to security and social issues, according to the investigation.

The same source added that the media project is reportedly funded by the Disenso Foundation, a think tank close to Vox that benefits from public funding and places issues of identity and immigration at the core of its discourse.

The investigation noted that, in addition to this platform, the party operates other outlets to spread its views, including the newspaper La Gaceta de la Iberosfera, as well as activities organized through the Foro Madrid, with the participation of figures associated with the far right.

Targeting Youth and Bypassing Traditional Media

The investigation observed that the digital channel adopts what it described as a “direct and sharp” style, simplifying political messages and presenting them in an attractive visual format to appeal to younger audiences, while deliberately bypassing journalistic verification standards.

According to the same source, some video content includes scenes described as misleading or fabricated, portraying foreign communities—particularly Moroccans—as responsible for security and social crises. The investigation argues that this approach fuels distrust toward democratic institutions and government policies.

Media Networks and Influential Figures

El Plural highlighted that the program “La Maleta de Soraya” is among the platform’s most prominent productions, regularly hosting figures close to the far right to reinforce criticism of what is referred to as “establishment media.”

The investigation also pointed to the roles of figures such as Jorge Martín Frías and businessman Julio Ariza in building this media network, which, according to the report, seeks to control the media narrative surrounding migration issues.

Parallel Political and Legal Context

In a related context, the investigation recalled that the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party has, in recent months, expressed opposition to the rise of hate speech in the country. The party filed a legal complaint against the Vox regional leader in Murcia, José Ángel Antelo, over statements described by media sources as inciting hatred against migrants, particularly Moroccans.

The regional secretary of the Socialist Party in Murcia, Francisco Lucas, also announced that the case had been referred to the regional public prosecutor, in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
