Security authorities in Fes have launched an investigation on the evening of last Friday following a report of an alleged robbery at a pharmacy near Moulay Slimane School, carried out by an unknown masked individual at approximately 7:05 p.m. (19:05).
According to initial information, the suspect entered the pharmacy at a time when the pharmacy assistant was alone, approached the cash register, brandished a knife, and demanded the money inside, estimated at around 5,000 Moroccan dirhams, before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The incident caused concern among local workers and shopkeepers, particularly due to its proximity to an educational institution and the fact that it occurred during a period of noticeable activity.
Investigations are expected to continue to identify and apprehend the suspect, with authorities taking care to clarify all aspects of the incident in accordance with legal procedures.
