Government Reorganizes Responsibility Structures with New Appointments to Senior Positions

During its meeting held today, Tuesday, the Government Council concluded deliberations on a number of proposals for appointments to senior positions, as part of the implementation of the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution relating to appointments to positions of responsibility.

In a statement, the Ministry Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and Civil Society indicated that these appointments concern vital sectors directly linked to administrative management, training, rights, and governance.

In the tourism sector, Zineb Essaidi was appointed Director of Regulation, Development, and Quality within the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and the Social and Solidarity Economy.

In the field of higher education, scientific research, and innovation, the Council approved the appointment of Amine Berqiya as head of the National Higher School of Computer Science and Systems Analysis in Rabat, as well as the appointment of Hassan Ayyad as Director of the National School of Applied Sciences in Marrakech.

With regard to the agriculture sector, Younes Zami Yahyaoui was appointed Director of Administrative and Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, as part of efforts to strengthen administrative and institutional management mechanisms within the sector.

The appointments also covered the Ministerial Delegation in charge of Human Rights, with Mohamed Aadi appointed Director of National Reports and Monitoring, and Hamid Achchaq appointed Director of Planning and Relations with Civil Society.

These decisions come within the framework of continuing the renewal of administrative responsibility structures, in line with the requirements of efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of public policies.
