FIFA revealed on Saturday the official schedule for the group stage matches of the 2026 World Cup, the day after conducting the tournament draw in Washington. The draw placed the Moroccan national team “Atlas Lions” in Group 3 alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti, with all three opening matches to be held on the East Coast of the United States.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino confirmed during the ceremony that “the 2026 World Cup will be the largest edition in tournament history,” noting that it is the first edition to feature 48 participating teams and be jointly organized by three countries (United States, Canada, Mexico).
