Social Security Launches 2025-2026 Children’s School Attendance Verification Operation.. Family Allowances Suspended in Case of Non-Submission of Documents

Rabat – November 25, 2025

The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) announced the launch of the annual verification operation for school attendance of children benefiting from family allowances for the 2025-2026 academic year, to ensure continued eligibility for benefits.

The operation covers three main categories:

  • School-age children between 6 and 21 years old,
  • Children benefiting from deceased persons’ pensions aged between 16 and 21 years,
  • Children of insured persons undergoing treatment for long-term illnesses aged between 21 and 26 years.

For the first time on a large scale, the operation will be conducted entirely automatically through an electronic information exchange system between the Fund and public and private educational institutions, exempting the majority of families from submitting any paper documents.

However, the option to manually submit school attendance certificates remains available in exceptional cases through the electronic service “Taawidaty” at the link: https://taawidaty.cnss.ma/

Important Warning from the Fund:

  • Failure to register children’s insurance numbers or failure to submit required documents within specified deadlines will automatically result in suspension of family allowance payments starting January 2026.

How to Track the Operation and Verify Your File Status:

  • Through the electronic portal www.cnss.ma
  • Through the MaCNSS mobile application
  • A simplified step-by-step guide is available on the Fund’s official website

For any additional clarifications, the Fund has made its Customer Relations Center available to insured persons at the toll-free number: 39 39

This measure aims to ensure the continuity of family allowance payments to actual beneficiaries, while rationalizing public spending and combating false declarations, which have cost the Fund millions of dirhams annually in recent years.
