His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, sent a warm congratulatory message to the players and staff of the Royal Army Women’s Football Club, on the occasion of their coronation with the title of the fifth edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League, held in the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt.
In the text of the Royal message, His Majesty said:
“We are pleased to send you our warmest congratulations on the occasion of your victory in the cup of the fifth edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League, which was hosted by the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt.”
His Majesty the King added:
“We appreciate, with great pride, this continental coronation, the second of its kind for your team, which is added to the list of honorable achievements of Moroccan football continentally and internationally, commending the efforts of all who contributed to winning this championship, including players, coaches, technical and medical staff, and administrative officials.”
His Majesty concluded the message with a sincere prayer:
“As we renew our warm congratulations to you and all team members, we pray to Almighty God for your continued brilliance and success in your football career, achieving further excellence and titles, and enhancing the distinguished presence of Moroccan women’s football regionally, continentally, and internationally.”
This is the second consecutive coronation for the Royal Army Women’s team in the CAF Women’s Champions League, following the 2022 edition, confirming the dominance of Moroccan women’s football on the African continent and reflecting the High Royal support and major investments in this sector over the years.
