Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Zineb Presides Over Signing Ceremony of Partnership Agreement with Ministry of Solidarity to Support Child Protection Program 2025-2030

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Zineb, President of the Moroccan League for Child Protection, presided today, Wednesday, in Rabat, over the signing ceremony of a strategic partnership agreement with the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, aimed at strengthening the League’s strategic program 2025-2030 for caring for children in difficult situations.

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Zineb received Ms. Naima Benayah, Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, during a visit to the Lalla Meryem Center in Rabat, dedicated to caring for children without family protection.

The meeting focused on ways to develop joint cooperation, particularly in supporting care and social integration programs for children in vulnerable situations through the League’s centers spread across various regions of the Kingdom.

Following the discussions, Her Royal Highness and Ms. Benayah signed the partnership agreement, which aims to:

  • Safeguard children’s rights in general and children in vulnerable situations in particular.
  • Strengthen achievements and realize the League’s strategic objectives.
  • Exchange expertise and good practices in training, support, and integration.

Princess Lalla Zineb: A Comprehensive Approach in Line with the Royal Vision

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Zineb emphasized that strengthening the partnership with the Ministry comes within the framework of a multi-sectoral approach to support children in difficult situations, implementing the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, which calls for expanding social projects and improving the living conditions of vulnerable groups.

Minister Benayah Praises the League’s Efforts and Renews Commitment

For her part, Ms. Naima Benayah praised the major role played by the League in caring for children deprived of family protection and mothers in distress situations.

She confirmed the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in the areas of:

  • Exchange of expertise and training.
  • Support and integration of children with special needs.
  • Support for socially targeted groups.

Strategic Program 2025-2030: 10 New Centers by 2030

The Moroccan League for Child Protection’s strategic program aims to establish 10 new reception centers by 2030, which will increase the accommodation capacity and expand the number of beneficiaries of care and integration services.

This agreement represents a qualitative step toward strengthening Morocco’s child protection system and embodies the joint commitment between civil society and government institutions to ensure a better future for children in vulnerable situations.
