On the sidelines of the national awareness campaign launched by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection under the slogan “Your Health is Your Capital, Prevention and Early Detection Are Your Guarantee,” the Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection for Moulay Yaacoub, in partnership with the IZZA Association and under the supervision of the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection of the Fes-Meknes Region, organized an awareness and educational day on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the Ras El Ma Level 1 Health Center. The event was dedicated to the early detection of breast and cervical cancer, as well as raising awareness about the importance of vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV).
A total of 218 women benefited from this campaign. It is noteworthy that the national campaign for the early detection of breast and cervical cancer, along with awareness of the importance of HPV vaccination for girls aged 11, was launched on October 1 and will continue until October 31. The campaign targets women aged 40 to 69 for breast cancer screening and women aged 30 to 49 for cervical cancer screening.
