His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, following a traffic accident involving several members of the Qatari Amiri Diwan near the city of Sharm El Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In his message, His Majesty expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic accident that occurred while several members of the Amiri Diwan were performing their duties. He extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to His Highness, the bereaved families, and the brotherly Qatari people.
His Majesty prayed to Almighty God to grant everyone patience and solace, to bestow His vast mercy and acceptance upon the victims, and to grant a speedy recovery and good health to the injured.
He also reaffirmed his sincere condolences, sharing in the profound grief caused by this tragic event, and prayed for the protection of His Highness and the brotherly Qatari people from all harm.
It is noted that the accident resulted in the death of three members of the Amiri Diwan, with others injured and receiving treatment at Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital, while the Qatari delegation was participating in indirect negotiations to end the war in Gaza.
