The mystery of the burned cars returns to Bouleman… an imam is the new victim in the Beni Hassan tribe

Local sources reported that the residents of the Beni Hassan tribe, part of the Ouled Ali delegation in Boulemane province, were shaken on Wednesday morning by a strange incident involving the ignition and burning of a Volkswagen Golf car owned by a local mosque imam.

According to information from Mohamed Al-Hamrawi bin Mahmoud, the Royal Gendarmerie of Ouatat Al-Haj, under the supervision of the center’s commander, promptly responded after receiving a report about the incident. They quickly moved to the scene to carry out inspections and investigations following instructions from the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

An official investigation has been opened into the case, and the imam, who is the victim, gave his statements in an official report. Further investigations will continue under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The incident coincided with the same day the imam was planning to move from his village in the Beni Hassan tribe to another mosque located within the jurisdiction of the Ouatat Al-Haj district.

It is worth noting that similar incidents have occurred before in the region; two cars were burned in the village of Ouled Ali in 2017 under unclear circumstances. These recurring events raise questions among the local population about the underlying causes.

This incident has caused surprise and concern among the community, who are awaiting the results of the investigations to understand the true circumstances.
