His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan chaired the award ceremony of His Majesty King Mohammed VI Grand Prix for show jumping on Sunday afternoon at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center in El Jadida. This event marked the finals of the 14th edition of the Moroccan Royal Tour CSI 4*W, held as part of the 16th edition of the Horse Fair.
Upon arrival at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center, His Royal Highness was welcomed by Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, President of the Horse Fair Association, before reviewing a formation of the Royal Guard presenting honors.
His Royal Highness was then greeted by several prominent officials, including Minister of National Education, Early Childhood and Sports, Mr. Mohamed Saad El Barrada; Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Mr. Ahmed El Bouari; President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, Mr. Faisal Al-Araishi; Wali of the Casablanca-Settat region and Governor of Casablanca Province, Mr. Mohamed Mehidiya; President of the Regional Council, Mr. Abdelatif Mazzouz; and Governor of El Jadida Province, Mr. Mohamed El Atfai. Additionally, he received the Mayor of Al-Hawziya and members of the Horse Fair Association’s board.
Following that, His Royal Highness took his seat on the main platform in Arena “A” of the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center, where he witnessed the Grand Prix competition, which was won by Irish rider Tim Brennan riding “Diadema Della Cachia” in the second round. The race featured 11 riders representing nine countries: Morocco, Ireland, Egypt, Portugal, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Poland.
At the conclusion of the competition, organized under the patronage of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports and the Royal Moroccan Equestrian Federation, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan presented the grand prize to the winner.
He also handed out awards to the four riders who ranked subsequently: Moroccan rider El Ghali Boukaâ on “A Kiss,” Egyptian rider Moda Ziada on “F Lux Code Kiel O.H.,” Portuguese rider Molly Hughes Bravo on “HHS Tokyo,” and Dutch rider Mans Thissen on “Jovialty.”

The Moroccan Royal Tour jumping event is a must-attend in the international equestrian calendar. It is a global show jumping tour held over three stages in different cities: Tetouan (September 18-21), Rabat (September 24-28), and El Jadida (October 2-5).
The third stage of the 14th edition of the Moroccan Royal Tour included riders from 17 countries, such as Morocco, Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Egypt, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates.
The 16th edition of the El Jadida Horse Fair was held under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI from September 29 to October 5, under the slogan “The Welfare of the Horse: A Link Between Equestrian Practices.”
