Casablanca: Arrest of a Man Impersonating a Public Prosecutor in a Judicial File Trafficking Network

Fas News learned that the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Casablanca Court of Appeal intervened last Saturday in an intriguing case involving the arrest of a man who impersonated a public prosecutor and is suspected of being involved in a network specialized in trafficking judicial files.

According to the newspaper Assabah, the detainee contacted a lawyer and ordered her not to appeal a final court ruling, which led to the exposure of his fraud and his referral to the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office that opened a comprehensive investigation into the case.

Judicial authorities continue their investigations to identify other potential accomplices in the network, awaiting further evidence that may emerge from the ongoing inquiry.
