King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to the Transitional President and Head of State of Mali, Army General Assimi Goïta, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Mali’s independence.
In his message, King Mohammed VI expressed his warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Goïta for the happiness and prosperity of the Malian people, emphasizing the deep historical bonds of brotherhood and solidarity linking the Moroccan and Malian peoples.
The King also reaffirmed Morocco’s constant readiness to work alongside the Republic of Mali to promote close, ambitious, and strengthened cooperation for a stable, united, and prosperous Africa.
