The territorial center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Nsouda, under the leadership of the newly appointed company commander, successfully dismantled a network trafficking hard drugs by executing a well-planned ambush that led to the arrest of a cocaine dealer during their security campaigns in the Ain Chqaf commune.
The arrest followed intelligence reports indicating that the suspect frequently visited the outskirts of Ain Chqaf and exploited densely populated areas to avoid suspicion. He was caught in the act of selling a significant quantity of cocaine to a potential buyer.
The suspect was referred to the competent public prosecutor’s office in custody for legal proceedings.
