In a move reflecting broad confidence in her expertise and leadership, former minister Hakima El Haite was unanimously elected as President of the Global Tafafah Heritage Association during the association’s recent general assembly meeting.
El Haite’s election to lead the association, which is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, was met with strong support from attending members.
The new executive board of the association was also formed, with Mohamed Bousfiha appointed as First Vice President, Khalid Benamour as Second Vice President, Mohamed Belghrib as Secretary General, and Maryam Al Jawahiri as Deputy Secretary General. Mohamed Mazour was named Treasurer, with Abdel Fattah Benis as Deputy Treasurer.
The advisory council includes Mohamed Al Araj, Tawfiq Al Wazzani, Hassan Hernan, and Zakia Lahlo, who will contribute their expertise and guidance to support the association’s mission and objectives.
Under Hakima El Haite’s leadership, the Global Tafafah Heritage Association is expected to launch new initiatives and programs aimed at raising awareness, protecting cultural heritage, and fostering international cooperation in this vital field.
