The government council approved today, Thursday, the appointment of Mohamed Reda Benjelloun as Director of the Moroccan Cinematographic Center, following a proposal by the Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication.
Mohamed Reda Benjelloun currently serves as Director of the News and Documentary Programs Department at the Second Channel (2M), bringing extensive experience in the media field.
Born in 1966, Benjelloun holds a law degree from the University of Sorbonne in Paris. His media career began in 1995 at the Second Channel, where he worked as a journalist, news anchor, and news producer, gaining broad expertise in media and television production.
His appointment is expected to contribute to strengthening the role of the Moroccan Cinematographic Center and advancing the country’s film industry in line with the national cultural vision.
