The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity has announced the launch of the “Marhaba 2025” operation dedicated to welcoming members of the Moroccan diaspora, starting today, Tuesday, June 10. This initiative is carried out under the high directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who has been personally and continuously overseeing the operation since its inception.
The 25th edition of this operation is organized in collaboration with various national and international stakeholders, aiming to provide a humane reception and comprehensive support for Moroccans abroad, whether upon their entry into the Kingdom or their return to their countries of residence.
As part of this initiative, 26 reception centers have been designated, distributed across various regions in Morocco and European ports. New facilities have been added at the airports of Laayoune and Dakhla, bringing the total number of centers inside Morocco to 20. Additionally, 6 centers have been established abroad—in Spain, France, and Italy—to offer a wide range of services to expatriates.
These centers provide integrated social and health services, with more than 1,200 personnel mobilized, including doctors, social workers, paramedical staff, and volunteers. They will operate around the clock from June 10 until September 15, 2025.
The Foundation has also activated a central coordination office in Rabat, which will supervise the field operations, ensure prompt responses to requests and complaints, and provide a direct communication service via phone 24/7 in multiple languages to meet the needs of citizens both inside Morocco and abroad.
This operation is part of the continuous care that His Majesty King Mohammed VI dedicates to Moroccans living abroad, reflecting his commitment to strengthening ties with the homeland and facilitating their seasonal return under comfortable and safe conditions.
