According to informed sources, Fes News has learned that a partnership agreement was signed on Tuesday morning, May 27, in Rabat between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Fez-Meknes region. The agreement aims to upgrade the multi-service center located in the Ain Chkef industrial zone.
The agreement was signed by Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Hamza Ben Abdellah, President of the Regional Chamber, with a total financial envelope of 3,147,281.40 dirhams. The cost will be jointly funded by the ministry and the chamber, along with additional support from the Sustainable Industrial Zones Fund.
The project focuses on renovating and equipping the center to enhance the industrial zone’s infrastructure and improve services offered to investors and the workforce. Planned facilities include showrooms, a café and restaurant, the headquarters of the local industrial association, an administrative office for the center, and a hall for training and meetings.
The upgraded center is expected to boost the value of the Ain Chkef industrial zone, improving working environments and production conditions, and making the area more attractive for industrial investment.
Following this announcement, local stakeholders are eagerly awaiting the implementation phase, hoping to see the agreement’s terms translated into tangible projects—especially in light of the region’s growing momentum in developing infrastructure for industrial investment.
