Health Directorate in the Fes-Meknes Region Bets on Digital Intelligence to Improve Health Services

As part of its efforts to enhance the digital transformation in the healthcare sector, the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in the Fes-Meknes region organized a training session on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, for technicians working in hospitals and health institution networks across the region. The training was dedicated to introducing the “Regional Digital Dashboard” platform.

The session took place in the Continuing Education Hall, in partnership with the Directorate of Planning and Financial Resources, the Regional Health Observatory, and in cooperation with the Directorate of Information Systems and Methodologies, with support from the “Vital Strategies” organization.

The training included both theoretical presentations and practical demonstrations, followed by extensive discussions on how to benefit from the new platform. This interactive digital tool aims to improve the monitoring of health system indicators at both the regional and local levels.

The platform allows for tracking resource indicators, the performance of health programs, population health status, health services, and financial indicators, thereby enhancing the ability of officials to make informed and timely decisions.

Additionally, the platform serves as an effective means for exchanging the necessary data and information, enabling better planning of services and improving performance within health institutions.

This initiative is part of the Regional Directorate’s commitment to the national strategy of the Ministry of Health, aimed at developing an information system and boosting digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
