In a significant operation that lasted over Thursday and Friday (April 24 and 25, 2025), the regional and local authorities in Moulay Yacoub province completed their program aimed at reclaiming public property and addressing problem areas in the Al-Izdihar neighborhood in the Ras El Ma area. This campaign resulted in significant achievements, including the demolition of walls of ten illegally built houses, the removal of eight unauthorized enclosures, and the complete removal of all iron fences that were obstructing the movement of residents. The authorities also managed to reopen all alleyways that had been closed due to encroachments, and to remove unauthorized gardens that were marring the public منظر.
This operation is part of a comprehensive program adopted by the regional authorities, which primarily aims to improve the living conditions of citizens and provide them with a healthy and safe environment, by reclaiming public property and organizing public gardens.
