The city of Meknes witnessed, this Monday morning, the launch of the 17th edition of the International Agriculture Exhibition of Morocco, organized under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, with tight organizational arrangements and exceptional security measures.

This significant annual event, which has become a key fixture in both the national and international agricultural agenda, is being held under the theme: “Agriculture and Rural Areas: Water at the Heart of Sustainable Development.” It comes in the context of increasing climate challenges that demand a rethinking of production methods and water management in rural areas. France is the guest of honor at this edition, which features wide participation from official delegations, professionals, and experts both from within Morocco and abroad.

In related news, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan is expected to chair the opening ceremony of the 17th edition of the International Agriculture Exhibition at the Seikh Al-Sitiny – Sahrij As-Suwani in Meknes, which reflects the royal attention to the agricultural sector and its pivotal role in ensuring food security and sustainable regional development.

On another note, the city has witnessed intensified security reinforcements since early Sunday morning, focusing on the exhibition’s vicinity and all vital points associated with it.
