Meknes witnessed intensive security reinforcements yesterday, Sunday, coinciding with the launch of the new edition of the International Agricultural Forum, which annually attracts tens of thousands of visitors and professionals from inside and outside Morocco.
Various security services began implementing a tight security plan from the early hours of Sunday morning. This included strengthening the security presence around the forum area, intensifying checkpoints and surveillance, as well as managing traffic to ensure smooth movement for visitors and participants.
These measures aim to secure this major international event, which has become a fixed appointment on Morocco’s agricultural agenda, with the participation of official delegations, professionals, experts, and representatives of international institutions and organizations.
Security sources confirmed that all arrangements were made to ensure the event proceeded in a safe and organized manner, with special teams for rapid intervention and modern surveillance cameras to monitor any suspicious movements.
This security mobilization highlights the importance of the forum, which represents Morocco’s agricultural front and provides a space for exchanging experiences and innovations in agriculture, scientific research, and modern technologies.
