On the night of Monday, March 10, 2025, Fes News observed a complete blackout in the Ras Jnan neighborhood, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Fez Medina District Council. The area was plunged into total darkness until the early hours of the morning, causing widespread frustration among both residents and visitors.
Despite repeated attempts by locals to contact the Independent Agency for Water and Electricity Distribution, as well as local elected officials, their pleas went unanswered, further fueling anger and discontent.
