As part of efforts to develop the tourism sector and enhance the attractiveness of the Boulmane Province as a promising investment destination, the Province of Boulmane organized the first tourism forum on March 6, 2025, under the slogan “Boulmane Province: Promising Tourism Potential.” The event took place at the headquarters of the province, with the participation of sectors concerned with tourism, professionals, investors, and representatives of the banking sector.
This forum aimed to establish the foundations of a comprehensive development vision to advance the tourism sector in the region by enhancing coordination among various stakeholders, identifying existing challenges, and proposing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles hindering the development of tourism and making it a key driver of economic and social development.
The forum featured in-depth discussions on priority issues affecting the growth of the tourism sector, focusing on:
- Land Settlement: As a fundamental pillar for attracting investments and providing suitable real estate offerings for tourism projects.
- Tourism Classification: As a mechanism to enhance the quality of hotel and tourism services and improve the region’s competitiveness as a tourist destination.
- Tourism Marketing and Promotion: Discussions centered on adopting modern strategies that align with digital transformations, contributing to raising the region’s profile nationally and internationally.
- Financing and Investment Mechanisms: By exploring ways to facilitate investors’ access to available funding and highlighting the pivotal role of the banking sector in supporting tourism enterprises and developing investment projects.
At the conclusion of the forum, the Governor called on all stakeholders to unite efforts and work collaboratively, reaffirming the province’s commitment, in partnership with various local and national actors, to implement the recommendations arising from this meeting and translate them into practical actions. These actions aim to strengthen Boulmane Province’s position on the national tourism map and support investment in this vital sector.
