The National Road No. 16, linking Settiat and Amtare, witnessed a serious traffic accident before sunset on the second day of Ramadan, after a taxi forcefully collided with the side safety barrier.
According to informed sources, the accident resulted in injuries of varying severity among the passengers, with no fatalities reported as of the time of writing this report.
The injured were transported to the hospital to receive necessary treatment, while investigations are ongoing to determine the causes of the accident and the circumstances that led to it.
This incident once again highlights the importance of caution and adherence to road safety rules, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, which sees heavy traffic movement.
