In connection with insulting a constitutional and organized body, spreading false news intended to harm individuals’ private lives, as well as threats and defamation, one of the accused has also been charged with insulting a lawyer while performing their duties.
Investigations conducted by the National Judicial Police Brigade, following a complaint filed by a woman, revealed that the suspects were involved in systematic operations targeting the victim, exploiting modern communication tools to spread false claims. Additionally, some of the individuals involved received money obtained from these actions.
Technical investigations also revealed that the minor suspect, who was placed in a child protection center, facilitated these operations by providing the SIM cards used for extortion and defamation, in coordination with the main suspect, with whom she shares a family relationship. The main suspect is still at large and outside the country.
In a related development, the Public Prosecution confirmed that investigations are ongoing with other individuals, who are currently under provisional detention by the National Judicial Police Brigade, awaiting the completion of the investigation and the identification of all those involved in this case.
