Caught Red-Handed… A Well-Planned Security Operation Foils a Drug Dealer’s Scheme in Casablanca

As part of the ongoing efforts by National Security services to combat illegal drug trafficking and psychotropic substances, police officers from the Al-Fida Mers Sultan Security District in Casablanca successfully arrested a suspect in possession of 2,825 narcotic pills on the evening of Friday, February 28. The individual is suspected of involvement in the distribution of these illicit substances.

The arrest followed thorough field investigations, which led to the suspect being caught red-handed with 30 “Zepam” narcotic pills, in addition to a motorcycle believed to be used in drug distribution operations.

A subsequent search of the suspect’s residence resulted in the seizure of an additional 2,795 narcotic pills, along with a large bladed weapon, further reinforcing suspicions of his involvement in organized criminal activities.

The detainee has been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, to uncover all aspects of the case and determine any potential criminal networks linked to the suspect. This operation is part of security efforts aimed at strengthening public safety and combating the spread of illicit drugs.
