“Moul El Hout” Exposes Reality… While Baitas Defends Monitoring Committees and the Government

During a press conference following the weekly government council meeting on Thursday, February 27, 2025, government spokesperson Mustapha Baitas stated that the efforts made by the young Marrakchi known as “Moul El Hout” reflect the government’s approach to regulating markets and strengthening price control to protect citizens’ purchasing power.

Baitas emphasized that the government is utilizing all available legal and regulatory measures to ensure market organization and maintain a balance between supply and demand. He also stressed that monitoring committees are not seasonal but operate continuously throughout the year, issuing monthly reports on tracking and inspection efforts. This, he said, highlights the government’s strong commitment to this issue.

The government spokesperson further stated that ensuring the availability of essential goods with high quality and fair prices is a top priority. He noted that the government is actively working to enhance monitoring mechanisms and coordination among stakeholders to regulate the market and protect consumers from disruptions.

Baitas concluded his remarks by reaffirming that the government will spare no effort in achieving this goal, underscoring that these efforts aim to create a balanced economic environment that ensures stability and safeguards citizens’ interests.
